Me too. I've always been worried about the delays in these large projects. 2017 is not an unlikely completion date. It's a real shame that the county hasn't provided some water sports locations. There is plenty of water in San Diego but not much recrea... Re: San Vicente - Tue, 10 Jan 2012

Here's the latest from an email from the San Diego County Water Authority. Re-opening of San V is currently scheduled for 2014 - late 2017 (nothing like narrowing it down!).
