Liquid Force E-News - Free For All 2011 Special Edition

Liquid Force's Free for All Cable Tour is back!  We're bringing the FUN
to a cablepark near you this summer!  With a goal of introducing the sport
of wakeboarding to new people, we are teaming up with our Liquid Force
Official Test Center's throughout the US to offer a day of free riding,
free food & drinks, and free giveaways!

Each participant will have the opportunity to demo all new 2011 Liquid
Force product on-site throughout the day, we'll have multiple Liquid Force
global teamriders at each event giving pointers and riding tips, Chipotle
and Monster Energy will be providing free food and drinks, and each
participant will have be receiving free giveaways from sponsors such as
Skull Candy, Monster Energy, Spy Optics, Supra Boats, New Era, Sanuk, Verta,

Wakesports will host a Halloween SHRED costume party at the Carlsbad Lagoon on Saturday, October 23rd.  The fun will kick off around 10 and continue until sunset. The Local West Side Riders will be on hand to shred and spread the stoke.  Just like the Freeride Fridays in the summer, $25 will get you some pulls, along with some of Greasy Gregs’s famous barbeque. There will also be games taking place all day on the beach to keep everyone entertained.  Bring your own costume or buy one from the Wakesports on the lagoon and ride for free! It looks like cable wakeboarding will finally make its way to Southern California. On October 28, the Santee City Council approved the plan to build a cable wakeboarding park at the Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve, which is located just outside San Diego, California.

The long-debated plan calls for a cable park and restaurant to be built on the preserve’s southernmost lake. The Santee Lakes cable park will feature a six-tower cable system as well as a restaurant, snack bar and pro shop.

The Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve is managed by the Padre Dam Municipal Water District and provides camping, fishing and other recreation pursuits to Southern California residents.

No word yet on when the plan will be put into action.
