Boat = Rich people, lot of pollution, less people share the sport.

Winch = Cool people, less pollution , everyone enjoy the sport.

Cable = Everyone , no pollution , perfect for slide an to ride with friends

Well, its still a cost of ownership. A cable park doesn't cost riders anything to "own" other than their gear. A jet ski and seadoo still has a decent cost associated with its upkeep. They are cool for wakeskating, but i doubt anyone takes boarding behind one seriously.

OK, another point. It is stated that Cable and Winch will allow more people access to the sport of wakeboarding due to the lower cost of getting into the game. If this logic holds true then why hasn't jetski wakeboarding taken off? The cost of ownership is much lower than that of a boat, yet I don't think it's even close to being the "future" of wakeboarding.
