Yesterday as well as today is the first stop of the 2009 Winch Jam presented by Rockstar. The world’s best wakeskate series is taking place right now at Orlando’s Watersports Complex which kicks off the WWA Air Nautique Wake Games, emphasizing the King of Wake Series.
A new twist this year that the riders will have to adjust to is the formatting of the winch has changed. The winch system now includes a hit down into a lake and reverse direction from the lake into the pool. All the riders will have to battle it out for the 12 man finals showdown where they will compete for the Winch Jam title of best trick.
