Its been a rush getting everything ready for Saturday’s meet up at San V, but it looks like thing are going to work out great. Geoff at Wakesports has been totally awesome with helping out with everything, and he will be out there supporting WBSD on Saturday! I got a huge banner made just in time, so look for a big white 3×8′ banner with black text on our blue EZ Up tent. We will be on the beach that is on the East side of the reservoir…if you head directly East from the launch, and cut through the small channel to the NE, we will be on your right hand side. I have created an excellent nautical map for reference.
It seems like we will have a pretty good turnout. At least 5 other boats are confirmed. I will be getting a bunch of burgers and hot dogs to grill up, as well as some beers and drinks. Bring anything else you want, and come meet the WBSD crew!
Also, since I’ll be heading out around 5am, I’m going to pick up passes for my boat for each session. If you are coming in with a boat, pick them up too if they are available, that way we can have the courses for the entire day. You can get them at the booth where you pay to enter, and they are $10 per session. You just need to give them your CF #.
